A fulfilling career with scope for development
The majority of CIOs don’t see their role as a way out of IT ““ in fact, 64% see the CIO position as the pinnacle of their career! This post found on Ernst & Young highlights recent findings of just how current CIOs see the future of their careers and where they’d like to be in the future. Surprisingly, only 11 percent believed they’d like to see themselves taking the role of CEO, and a mere 13 percent thought of themselves moving into another C-suite role. The post also points out that about 35 percent of respondents indicated that they need advice on career strategy.
