Most CIOs on the board but have little business influence

More and more CIOs are finding themselves within the boardroom (according to this article, about 79%), but that doesn’t mean that they are part of the strategic planning of the organization. CIOs are struggling to present a business plan that the CEO can translate into action , and that makes them seem irrelevant to many other board members.
